A court in Istanbul decided yesterday to stop publication and distribution
of a Kurdish newspaper for 15 days in an ongoing investigation into certain
news articles and commentaries.

According to court, 13 articles have been published that contain Statements
of PKK leaders and Kongra-Gel.

The court said in its decision that the newspaper abused the freedom of
expression and spread terrorist propaganda.

Women constitute to half the population of our country, unfortunately they only represent 4.36 percent of the parliament and only 1 percent in local municipals. Due to the male dominancy in the political field it makes it difficult for women to participate and be represented. It is quite clear that not having the representation of women in politics is by all means is a deficient democracy. An arrangement is essential to overcome this deficiency, such as a quota system. “Joint Presidency” is also a positive practice in political parties to serve and establish gender equality in society.

The ruling classes in our country show their loyal collaboration to imperialism by deciding to send soldiers to Lebanon. Dissidents inside the country are blockaded and attacked by state force, because they constitute a big problem of the imperialist policies
For this reason, the ruling classes have developed and expanded their lynch culture in order to turn the people up against each other. The destroying-denying attacks against the Kurdish people, 9 year old Mizgin that was killed and the bomb attack in Diyarbakir show that these attacks continue.

The cases of journalists charged with "propaganda" and prosecuted at
Criminal Courts of First Instance for interviews conducted with armed
organization leaders are being transferred to Specialized High Criminal
Courts under recent amendments made to Turkey's Anti-Terror Law.

Initially subject to the transfers are a group of 4 Turkish journalists
whose cases have been continuing at lower level courts.

Yet another child, this time, Kerem was killed when a piece of metal he was
