Tour of the Caravan for the Rights of Refugees and
Migrants:
Tour stop in Bremen on Sunday, May 27th, 2007

Let‘s stand together against deportation, exclusion and world-wide exploitation

Prior to the G8 summit in early June, during which the rich and powerful people of the world will decide the further destruction and exploitation of our countries, we will travel from town to town, raising our voices and saying, "We are here because you destroy our countries!"

Almost ten years have passed since the summer of 1998, the time the Caravan started its first tour to fight
for our rights. In our fight we have achieved many small improvements. However, our living conditions have grown even worse. We live isolated in camps, in permanent fear of deportation, without rights, we lead an exhausting life "auf Duldung." This is also true for Bremen and Lower Saxonia: the living conditions for us refugees and migrants have been aggravated even further, e.g. in the refugee camps in Bramsche and Blankenburg where the situation is untenable. It is more urgent than ever for us to unite in our resistance, to act in concert and fight for our rights in a joint movement - here in Bremen as well as in other places. We know that the system of exclusion, oppression, aggravated deportation affects all
refu-gees, regardless of their countries of origin, and threatens all of us.

This is why we, the Caravan for the Rights of Refugees and Migrants, the Birati e.V. and the Confederation of Kurdish Associations YEK-KOM, invite you to partici-pate in a manifestation and a common conference at the day the Caravan Tour 2007 stops in Bremen.
