UGANDAN REFUGEE ACTION CONVENTION 2012 IN AUGSBURG

The Uganda Asylum Seekers Forum, Bayern- Deutschland, The Voice Refugee Forum together with the Uganda –Germany Community Association e.V, wish to invite all Refugees in Bayern as well as all interested parties to the Uganda Action Convention 12 scheduled for 23.06.2012 starting at 11:00Uhr at the Neruda Café am Augsburger Hofgarten in Alte Gasse Straße 7 in Augsburg Bayern.
The Action Convention is aimed at discussing and calling for action against different problems faced by refugees in Bayern such as the need for solidarity, information and empowerment, deportation, deportation collaboration by Embassies, delayed decision making by the Bundesamt, the rights of refugees to stay, residenzeplicht, racism, political activism etc.
Topics of discussion include:
• The plight of refugees in Bavaria and the need for exchange, solidarity and empowerment
• The Political Situation in Uganda as a cause of refugee flight
• The impact of Deportation hearings and Embassy deportation collaboration on Refugees
• The importance of legal representation at the Bundesamt: What to do in case of a negative decision etc.
