Attempted attack by far right group on the Refugee Protest Camp in Hannover

By azadi, 5 October, 2014

Cheap lives

At around 21.00 hour, yesterday night, 03.10.2014, we had been informed at our Camp that a group of radical extremists is trying to attack our camp, actually there was a gathering of these people around the camp, time later, they tried to attack our camp, and they caused injuries among our friends from German people. Four of our friends were seriously injured, one of them a girl in early twenties of her age now at hospital, she had an operation because of damaged face with a broken nose.

And had a situation of instability and threatening the whole night, dawn up to morning.
Refugees in Weissekreuzplatz:
First, wish all those who had been injured yesterday a speediest recovery.
Thank all those who took the responsibility of protecting our camp yesterday.
Condemn any kind of aggression and violence against us and against our peaceful and open political articulation and protest.

See the German authorities and politicians at National, state and local level are responsible about the damage which happened last night, and they will responsible about the lives of refugees as well as their supporters and any kind of harm may happen to them.

See what happened yesterday, is confirming what we always say, that, German Authorities see refugees lives as something of no value or at least of cheaper value in Human being scale.

Spent more than four months in the street, and will face the tough upcoming winter time, while the authorities still as if they are not here in terms of concrete doings.

Repeat the demands again to be granted the right to stay and to be recognized as refugees, right here and right now.

Call all freedom believers in Hannover, to reactivate their support to the camp and its political demands.
