Over the last 24 hours over 300 civilians who were awaiting relief and medical assistance within the “Safety Zone” declared by the Government of Sri Lanka have been killed and several thousand injured in Udaiyaarkaddu, Suthanthirapuram, and Vallipuram in the Mullaitivu District by Sri Lanka Army multi-barrel artillery and mortar shelling by the Sri Lanka armed forces.

It was 4 years ago when he was arrested by Desau police and tortured to death and set in fire to hide the evidence of torture. The judge in the court said that it is a kind of murder but the state machinery is used to hide the evidence. The fact swhows that the police is claimed themselve for the murder collectively. The election of Obama as US president blows a kind of hope into the dreams of simple minded people as if there will be some changes just to say that the US-regime may not be too bad and that there even exists so much democracy as to even allow a black man to become president. And a black president who even has somehow some relationship to Islam and Muslims may do a lot of good things!! Even if not doing anything good, at least his election can be regarded as a victory for black population!!!
