UK: Hunger strike in Campsfield as deportee takes his own life in Iraq

Some 50 refugees held at Campsfield immigration prison, near Oxford, are on hunger strike in protest at their continued detention. The hunger strike was started on August 9th by 13 Iraqi-Kurdish detainees, who demanded that forcible deportations to Northern Iraq are stopped.

The Residenzpflicht law is a racist law

This is to prevent refugees from integration, to isolate them from the world around them. This law punishes a lot of refugees who do not know which way to follow. This is the case with the political refugee Kodjo D'Almelda of the Intiative « TOGO ACTION PLUS ».

The German authorities should give refugee status to Mehrandokht Feizi after her application for asylum in Germany. Through their people they had enough information about the case of Mrs. Feizi. In fact through professor Klaus Steinbek they were fully aware of what happened by the interviews, which German team trying to record under the direct responsibility of Mrs. Feizi.

Der Kampf von Flüchtlingen braucht Geld!

Die Karawane ist maßgeblich auf Spenden angewiesen. Unsere Organisation besteht überwiegend aus Flüchtlingen, die (wenn überhaupt) nur über sehr geringe finanzielle Mittel verfügen. Aus diesem Grunde haben wir 2008 den „Förderverein Karawane e. V.” gegründet. Unser Verein ist als gemeinnützig anerkannt und kann deswegen auf Wunsch Spendenquittungen ausstellen, so dass sie steuerlich absetzbar sind. Wenn bei der Überweisung die Adresse mit angegeben wird, verschicken wir die Spendenbescheinigung automatisch spätestens am Anfang des Folgejahres.
