Am Dienstag, den 17. März 2009 fand im Jakobushaus Remscheid-Lennep eine Pressekonferenz statt, die von den BewohnerInnen der Flüchtlingsheime in Remscheid-Lennep und der KARAWANE für die Rechte der Flüchtlinge und MigrantInnen organisiert und vorgetragen wurde.
Am Freitag, 27.03.09 treffen sich Flüchtlinge der Wilhelm-Busch-Straße in Bayreuth mit dem Oberbürgermeister (OB)ihrer Stadt. Er ist einer Einladung der Karawane Nürnberg gefolgt, nachdem er Gesprächsbereitschaft nach der Pressekonferenz im Vorfeld der Demo im Dezember 2008 geäußert hat. Er wollte aber leider - ohne Begründung - nicht zu den Flüchtlingen nach Hause kommen. So findet das Gespräch im Rathaus statt.
Unterstützung kommt auch vom Runden Tisch "Bunt statt Braun" und einer studentischen Gruppe - vielleicht gibt es demnächst auch eine Karawane Bayreuth!

Why "Gutschein" to some innocent, non criminal, poor refugees who are fighting only for their lives in other for them to be not dead in their different countries, to which the German government benefits some economical accords and interest?
Warum Gutscheine für unschuldige, nicht kriminelle, arme Flüchtlinge, die nur um ihr Leben kämpfen, damit sie nicht in ihren jeweiligen Ländern sterben, an denen die deutschen Regierung durch ökonomische Abkommen und Gewinne profitiert?
