We as refugees in the district of Bitterfeld are forced to live in isolated camps in the middle of a forest, far away from shopping facilities, doctors, and other places of social life. The situation in the camps is very bad. Rooms are small and overcrowded. The kitchen appliances, toilets and bathrooms are broken and insufficient. We are controles and thratend by the directors od the camps in the district of Bitterfeld. They disregard our privacy.
It is prohibited for us to leave Saxony-Anhalt by the so-called „Residenzpflicht”. Our freedom of movement is thus heavily restricted. By racist police controls we are harassed repeatedly.
Although we are already several years in Germany and want to work, we aren‘t allowed to work and start any formation. We want to feed and support us and our families ourselves.
Therefore we as Refugee Movement in Saxony-Anhalt: „Enough is Enough!“ Stop to destroy our lives
We organize a demonstration in Bitterfeld, 1st of august 2013. Start of the demonstration will be at the train station in Bitterfeld at 10.30 am.
Our demands are:
- Abolish camps!
- Abolish Residenzpflicht!
- Stop racist police controls!
- Distribute work permits!
- Stopp Deportation!
- Right of residence everywhere!
