On October 24, early in the morning at 6:20 am 250 policemen raided the refugee camp in Remscheid. They broke into the rooms of the refugees, forced them to the ground and hancuffed them. Thereafter they searched in the rooms for "drugs". The refugees had to wait at least two hours until they were released.

An African activist of The VOICE Refugee Forum, Germany detained, humiliated and strip searched by the Israeli security at the Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv.
We denounce the arrest by the Dutch authorities of Jose Maria Sison, the temporary political advisor of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP). We denounce both the attack on Prof. Sison and others affiliated with the NDFP as well as the robbery of computers and office materials. The Dutch state is openly participating in the oppression of the anti-colonial and democratic struggle of the Filipino people.
On 02/09, about 60 refugees detained in the Büren deportation prison went on hunger strike in order to demand their liberation.
