Two of the 198 Iranian-Kurdish refugees stranded on the Jordan-Iraq border
since January 2005 started a 'permanent' hunger strike on Sunday. The move
was intended to put more pressure on the UN refugee agency, UNHCR, to

refugees' spokesperson.

A trial was opened to the 56 mayors of DTP, as a claim of helping PKK,

It is learned that the person, who lost his life in the city of Wan, Elbax
yesterday, in the house which was attacked by private teams and soldiers, is
not a HPG guerilla, is a citizen, named as Kiyasettin Korkac. The
eyewitnesses said that private teams didn't make any warning during the
attack and lynched the persons thay they came out from the house.
