Stay here! Abolish refugee camps! Private accomodation for everyone! Stay here!

After a press conference on 10. December, the day of human rights, we, the refugees from the Refugee Camp Wilhelm-Busch-Straße, will step out on the street for a demonstration. Refugees from all over Bavaria and other people, who show their solidarity, will join us. We want to draw public attention to our living conditions, to the problems we experience dealing with the authorities and to the conditions in our refugee camp.

We don't want to sit down quietly and wait. We want to stand up and fight for our rights!

We fight:

  • Unbearable living conditions, in which families are forced to live over years
  • Prohibition of work
  • Lacking possibility for young people for school and education
  • Residenzpflicht (inhuman restriction of refugees
    to their Landkreis)
  • Lacking possibilities to visit refugee counsellors
and the refusal to visit refugee counsellors in Nürnberg
  • Food packages which are not sufficient for nutrition
  • Limited health care

These are some of the reasons, why we can't stand the situation in Bayreuth any longer and why we get sick.

Due to the federal laws and the implementing regulations of the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior, the Situation is generally very difficult for refugees in Bavaria. Refugees in
Bayreuth face additional difficulties due to the strict handling with these laws by the Ausländeramt (foreigners office) Bayreuth. We are down with our nerves. Many of us fled from situations where our lives were in danger because of war or misery. Some of us risked their lives to get to Europe. Now we experience how the rich German State, that gets never tired of lecturing other Governments about human rights, cuts away our human rights day by day. The German State keeps us in a situation, in which we can’t see any
perspective for our lives. This situation is particularly hard for children and young persons, which are banned from any life perspectives from the very beginning.

Stop it! Right to stay for everyone!
